would you take her up on the offer, or would you pay for a second cup ??? you want a second cup, but dont want to go ask for a freebie...

sounds a silly question, but there are folks that would rather pay than have to ask for a freebie...

well ive been to new york and its not even thought about .there you would be given a top up without asking.sadly the level of service in the uk is dismal in comparisson to the usa.they know how to treat customers rigth and are rewarded for it .here its hit and miss im afraid

Yep I always take up the offer! In the coffee shops I used to frequent in Belfast they came around and offered you a top up (only if it was regular coffee mind, not for stuff like double mocca latte frappe blah blah blah!).

If there was free coffee on offer, then too right i'd go and get my top up!!!!!!!!! No way would i pay for a second cup if i can get a freebie, do i look daft????????lol
Saying that, i cant think of anywhere locally to me that does this! Shame, cause i love a coffee or two!

yep!!!!in the good ol usa we pay for the first cup, and the rest are free. you can drink a pot of coffee for $1.00
