How accurate are those ideal weight charts? I am 5ft 1" and weigh 9 stone and all the charts I have come across say I am overweight yet to look at me I dont think I am. I have a good pair of boobs and curves and I am happy with myself which is all that matters but was just wondering.

if you're healthy, and happy with how you look, i wouldn't worry. I'd blame it on the boobs!!! lol ;o)

according to the scales in boot's my ideal wieght is 11st 11lbs?? i would honestly look like skelator from he man!!!
I put on weight recently (about half a stone) and although it doesn't make me overweight I thought it was quite a lot...but then when I look at myself in the mirror I honestly can't see where it is so I've decided not to worry bout it! I'm 5'4 and weigh about 9st 10lbs by the way!

LMAO @ rugeleyboy

same here sophie, i was only 8 stone when I started college and now 9 stone 3 years on but I don't know where its gone I look ok.

I am not worrying I was just interested in whether they were accurate and who produces them.
Your bmi (body mass index) should be between 20-25 and yours is 24. You are ok
We always hear that we are overweight compared to our height, isn't it just that maybe we are too short for our weight?? So not overweight, just too short!!
I`m not over weight I`m under tall
The charts are based on BMI which has been discredited in most medical and health circles. It takes no account of body composition only weight. The important figure is body fat/lean percentage.
