When you go here http://www.spaceweather.com/ look at top and you will see flybys click on that and you will find the link for sightings and exact times for sightings of spacestation over your area if you put in your nearest city.
wendilla you are obviously the one in the know - I live in the SE of UK - on Romney Marsh - am interesting in seeing the lunar eclipse (which I understand will be about 8pm but it's still light then?) and the ISS - please help me with the best times for sightings. Thank you
4 sightings tonight for stay uppers.
sorry wendilla - senior citizen moment - you have answered my question on another post - sincere apologies
4 sighting for stayer uppers, razza? Can you list all those times then?

wendilla, another great post, but alas i have yet to see the spacestation in central scotland , always quite cloudy. :(
LOL, and that wasn't ratter15 saying thanks. It was me, carakeel! Just realised he had signed in on his account on my computer before going off to work. Best sign back into mine now.hehe

Lovely dog must take you for a walk.
well I hope the weather holds up for some of you tonight for the ISS and the partial lunar eclipse.

It is about as grey and cloudy as it can get down here, there would be more colour inside a steel saucepan out there at the moment - in the SW...........
I'm never sure if I am seeing it...A couple of times I've seen what looks like a star moving in the right direction a little slower than a plane...is that it?
Question Author
Rowan the best way I can explain it is just imagine the largest planet gliding across the sky. If you are looking at the time I have stated it will be the SS AND IT DOES NOT BLINK. IT IS VERY BRIGHT.
Question Author
We had a really heavy thundery downpour little while ago but it has cleared up nice here in Leics.
thick heavy cloud over my area - looks like no chance of a break in the cloud - oh very, very bother!!!!!
Question Author
It is surprising how fast the cloud clears as it gets darker.
Just started raining here ;-(
Question Author
Boxtops just wondered if you managed to find your cat.
Thanks for the update Wendi. (Weather is looking very promising at the moment here for a sighting)
