Also came 2nd in Eurovision song contest in 1965.

I certainly remember those lips!

I think in the 60's she was involved with a market stall holder called Geoffrey Gee who sold ladies tights, stocking etc. She often went to markets with him to help his business. RIP Kathy.

I felt I should give her a mention being as she was part of my youth.

Making connections, Kathy Kirby links to "Secret Love", recorded by Doris Day almost 10 years earlier. I was passionately in love with Doris Day when I was 8. She is now 87, so don't know if I still fancy her that much.

Mike my brother is still in love with Doris Day, got all her records, and video's, books about her and he's 77, We go round to play cards some nights and Doris is always in the background. He could go on 'Mastermind' subject - Doris Day..
