Good luck with that.
My sister in law is still waiting for a refund from a flight that was cancelled on 27 March
I'm still holding my breath from a flight we booked for April.
Never ever again O'Leary

Maybe I have just been lucky,we only waited 14 days for a cancelled flight to Pisa, right enough it wasn’t much,
This time it’s £412 so maybe I will have to wait .
Perhaps everyone who are waiting for a refund from RA , can arrange a demonstration , with the slogan ' Refunds matter ' and march on the RA HQ

Who do we fly with to Dublin Bazile?
Will you carry the banner ?
Or sister Anna?
I honestly don't get why everyone is so stressed about the refunds (well, of course I realise that they'd rather have the money back sooner than later)
There was a retired woman on my local news who was waiting for a refund for a virgin holiday to America that should have happened in April. Apparently the lack of a timely refund was causing her hardship. And I just thought if the holiday had taken place, she still be out that money plus a lot more for spending. It probably sounds like i'm being harsh but companies can only work as fast as they can work and they have thousands of refunds to sort. In a previous job I was assessing claims for refunds (to do with healthcare) and 1200 claims took us around 5 years to process
We are up to 83 days with BA and Qantas so dont hold your breath. Some smaller refunds have arrived but not the lions share.
But I thought Ryanair had resumed flights?!!
Some flights are open, more next week, Sharon.

So why they cancelled jordy's flights?
I have no idea on that one, Sharon.
happened to me years ago (ash cloud) and they paid up very promptly; I expect this year they'll be a lot more snowed under, though. Still, keep us posted.

SharonA-,you got me going and my wife says you had better check,as we don’t know what’s going on ,
Went into Ryan air my booking and right enough trip cancelled, whewg
maybe they are reducing their routes and therefore know they won't be putting on that flight
Bednobs, they are flying to Chania.
Jordy, glad you sorted it. Seems a little silly.
Will you re-book since you're flying that way?
Question Author
No Sharon we are not going to rebook with Ryanair.
Once we are reimbursed we will not be using them again,
They no longer fly Scotland to chania,
So we will fly with easyJet Edinburgh to Heraklion ,
It will mean an over night stay in Heraklion,
Then a bus trip to chania.
If you get a full refund in 14 days I'll eat my hat. They are issuing vouchers for future travel but are bleating about problems processing refunds.
Why an overnight stay at Heraklion? Crete is not that large. You are an ex para. The Falshirmjager got to Chania quicker than that nearly 80 years ago.
