looking at buying a new car, and I see on spec 'follow me home headlights'.

What are they?

I suspect that they stay on for a bit after turning ignition off, but could be thinking of something else!

You are right with the first thought....
I have them on my car - stay on 20 secs or so after you lock the car to help you down the path. Which in the current weather is a good idea!

have to pull the headlight stork to activate lights for app 20seconds on some cars, dont know if they are all alike - stupid if you live in town )

What about an ejecter seat. Next time my Girlfriend says "Slow down" when I am doing 50 on a motorway I would not have to hear the whole sentence. :-)
