Been really bad the last couple days in Perthshire. There must be a high risk of flooding-even part of Tescos car park was flooded tonight (thats a first).
Don't worry folks, Kent's had it really bad today. Fortunately I was on the train, the A20/M20 was closed into Dover, an artic blew over on the high section. Lovely now - clear skies, etc. More promised on Saturday!
It's really really blowing a gale here, very noisy , glad I don't have to pick my son up from work tonight, I get scared driving when trees are swishing all over the place with the wind,
the Dartford bridge crossing is for cars heading south, isn't it? Tough luck that those south of the river won't be able to get decent food or go to interresting theatres and exhibitions until the weather calms down, but they can always resort to cannibalism.
I get scared when driving in high winds.Every road where I live seems to be tree lined and ive seen the results of branches coming down-hence my fear :(
All the traffic's using the Dartford tunnel, two lanes each way. The backlog is going back as far as the Blackwall tunnel at the moment. Ferries are disrupted, as the A20's been closed, all the artics are coming through the old Folkestone Road into Dover at the moment.
