can any one tell me what the law is about stoping on a bus stop a i got a ticket for having the rear end of my car in a bus stop for 4 minsand the camara that tock the pic was about 150 m away

So part of your car was in a bus stop for four minutes, and you feel hard done by getting a ticket? Good grief!
It should be pointed out the Highway Code was updated in 2007 and so the relevant Rule is now numbered 243.

Unfortunately I am not able to provide a link to set aside a period of time to enable pauljbw6 to read it.
You've not indicated what actual markings there were at the bus stop.

If there was a single, broad, solid yellow line (as there often is at bus stops) no stopping is allowed during the times displayed on the adjacent plate. Even pulling up for a few seconds (e.g. to allow a passenger to jump out) is an offence.
