You don't say if it is the Fire Appliances or the staff's own cars. In either case, they should not obstruct other road users. A fire engine can only do that if it is on a job.

Call you local police on the non-emergency number and ask the question, or get hold of your local Neighbourhood Police team and ask them to have a word.
Although, don't expect them to rush round if you have a fire.
"Although, don't expect them to rush round if you have a fire. "

Probably won't matter as they won't be able to get anywhere near due to the badly parked cars!
are they the full time staff going into work? or are they retained rushing to park and get out on a call?
are they parking across your drive or just parking on road and you cant manoever out?

i would suggest a call to the officer in charge of the station, either the full time or retained, depending on who is parking there,.

sometimes when in cases of emergency, time looking for parking could be costing lives but as you dont say under what curcumstances its occuring no-one knows if thats the case here

it is their cars. they have a big car park around the back but park on the apron of the fire station at the front. when they are there i can only get my car out with a lot of effort and reversing back and forth in the main road but cannot drive it straight out safely. sometimes cannot get it in or out at at all
so they are not actually blocking your drive?
Surely, the apron of the fire station is their property?

It is all day so probably full time people. Not sure if i used right word(apron) it is a wide bit of pavement in front of my drive, sometimes i can drive out of the side of my drive when they have parked on there but not if more than one has, or if they have parked too far over. I have lived here 5 years and has only been happening in last three weeks.
are they having building work done? for it to suddenly happen there must be a reason.

just call in and ask them. see if you can all come to an agreement on where is safe to park.

They are firefighters, they wont bite!

I just dont want them to think i am being tossy. Iknowthey have a job to do but i cant see what is wrong with the 20 empty spaces in their car park.
just dont go in there shouting the odds then. Go and enquire if anythings changing, why they are parking differently and ask if theres any way to arrange it so that youre not blocked in. Be friendly, after all, youve had no bother for last 5 years

if youre polite then i cant see why they wont be.
