Does anyone know if you can have more than one practical driving test booked at a time (I'd like a back up in case I fail again!)

Don't do that! You may well pass, and at this time of year you shouldn't have to wait too long for a re-test.

Good luck!
no you cant have 2 bookings,if you fail you can make a new booking but it must be at least a month after the 1st test
1 month, are you sure?

Two tests cant be booked at the same time, if you go through the website it'll say you already have one booked.

Be positive!
I can't actually see anything on the DSA website which prohibits you from booking two practical tests but. like Ethel, I wouldn't recommend attempting to do so.

If you do fail your first test, you won't necessarily have to wait as long for your next appointment as Norman suggests (especially if you're able to accept an appointment at short notice due to someone else cancelling):

Quote:
"If you fail the test you should ask the examiner for some feedback to help prepare yourself for your next test. Your driving report form will also show you where you made any mistakes. You can take another practical test 10 working days after your car or motorcycle test."

its a month [edited by ABED]
So he's a prat for posting a link to the Driving Standards Agency website which shows that the correct answer is, in fact, 10 days and not, as you say, a month.
Its not a month, I know plenty of people who have got cancellations a week after failing their test.

I wouldnt however, advise booking more than one at one time because you will probably have to pay for the second one whether you sit it or not
