I have had my car stood for about 14 weeks now with the battery disconnected but I have no power once it is connected. The battery is good and is showing 12.63V. It is a heavy duty battery as the car is a diesel. Grateful for any advice please.

have you charged the battery in the last 14 weeks?

No, but it has been disconnected and I went to charge it but it is fine and the indication on the battery is that it is fine as well.
it may be worth giving that battery a small charge as even a weak battery can still indicate 12.5 v (but mat not be able to put out those all important amps)

its a good starting point as you have nothing to loose.. by the sounds of it - you already have a charger.

Thank you Lee. I will give that a try. Since I posted the place I bought the battery from earlier this year are going to bring brand new battery round to finally eliminate this. I will let you know how it goes.
