yes, the spare wheel is not part of the test.

...BUT, if you do have a spare wheel in the car for the MOT, it must be legal (tread depth etc), otherwise you will fail the MOT.

it dosent matter for mot if you have a spare or not. you may get an advisory not telling you that you havent got one or that it is illegal but if it fails for that then ask for a appeal form

you can have a bald tyre and still pass an mot.
