I do hope that you weren't putting that E10 rubbish in the tank. 99 octane only. Better performace, quieter running, more mileage, and no engine damage.
This motoring business seems to be getting too expensive for the common folk.
Do you think that's a good thing,?

I only use the 99 octane stuff togs. It actually works out cheaper because I get more MPG.

Same here TTT. I have done the comparisons and found that it is cheaper in the long run(pun intended). Better mileage, better performance, and much quieter running. I prefer Shell 99 octane, but will suffer a top up of 97 octane if I am out of range.

mine is from 2004 when it was owned by Ford. You can tell it's designed for the US by certain features, eg the bonnet pull is on the passenger side, which in the US would be the drivers side.
