a warning light flahes around every 5 seconds on my mk4 fiesta, and ideas whats wrong wid it?

What kind of warning light? I assume it's a red light - does it have any kind of symbol on it?

Could it be the alarm?

If it's the ignition light it could mean that your alternator is on its way out.

look in the rear mirror it might be the feds chasing you!!!

it is an orange light and has a picture of a man wearing a seat belt

Does it flash even when you're wearing your seat belt or when both you and a front seat passenger are wearing your belts?
