mid thirties over here - and suggestions that it may touch 40 by the weekend

i am keeping cool with continuous cocktails and beers, also jumping into the pool with my god daughter to splash about

thank heavens for the air conditioning in our apartment - which i paid extra for (but worth it) and is on constantly

I don't know where you are but if the temperature is going anywhere near 40, than that can't possibly as anything other than dangerous. Why do the Brits see the need to go to unpleasantly hot places for holidays ?

Thunder and quick showers all day here in Leicestershire, a frustrating kind of day - so much to do in the garden and it keeps making us run for cover!! x
