Just had a lovely lady here to measure up for an awning on my house. Because I want it fitted quickly and without a cooling off period we had to sign forms to say that not only did I think I am compos mentis but that she found me to be of sound mind too. I have a copy of the form to keep!

I almost shed a tear. No-one has ever said that to me before.

good to have the light for a sundeck - hope the view is a nice one, pastoral? - we artistes as to studio light use North light as it is cleaner as light goes.....

DT, I bet you artists freeze in Winter! There are some old, purpose built, artist studio cum houses in West Kensington which have vast, high, windows over the equivalent of two floors, facing due North. Went in one once and needed an overcoat inside !
