A friend of mine has to do a Speed Awareness Course.

This friend of mine got caught by a speed gun two or three weeks ago.

At least my friend gets to keep my ... I mean "her" ... clean licence.

My licen"s"e ?

We are talking about, err ... my friend's licence, of course.

Ahem.

=0)
what, was this while "she" was jogging?

She could get Chris Huehne's ex to take her points.
Its Madame Criminal on line tonight - you sunk yourself on a similar thread a few weeks ago, Jayne....
Mt friend (really, my friend) went on this course a few months ago, she said it was very informative, you don't do any driving!.......didn't do her a lot of good though, she got caught again a month later!.......36 mph through a 30 mph limit, and then again 2 weeks later 34 through a 30!............6 points in just a few weeks!........
they just get to thinking they can get away with it, welsh, when in reality it's the brink of a very slippery slope

I know, DTC.

I did, didn't I.

Well, I'm glad to hear the course is informative.

I wonder if we get lunch?
don't think you get lunch jj, my friend was away by about 1pm!......met her for lunch afterwards......
When I went there was no lunch, the cr@ppiest tea imaginable and all the biscuits gone by the time I got to the front of the queue.
you should have overtaken the queue, Prudie

No Jammie Dodgers then, prudie?

When you go on any course, or any conference, you always get Jammie Dodgers.

It's the only time you ever see them.
The Doc said that it wasn't too bad:

Jammie Dodgers are 50p a pack in Aldi this week (just in case you miss them at the course).
That's because jammie dodgers are cheap and nasty!
Take that back Prudie - I love them (but don't usually buy them because there are only 8 in a packet).

Our local Aldi is north of the railway station, in bandit country.
Son has to go on one shortly. Doing 35 in a 30mph zone. I think he is the last one in his company to be going on one. Better than points on his licence.
sorry sherr, you can have my share in life, they are foul (BTW - sorry JJ - sherr are you watching the Educating Essex prog?)
Why can't folk stick to the speed limit?

Is it that difficut??
Question Author
As it happens, I haven't eaten any biscuits for ages.

Or sweets.

Or chocolate.

Or cake.

Or puddings.

Or anything with sugar, if I can avoid it.

So I wouldn't have had a Jammie Dodger.

It's nice to see them, though.
