My car tax is due end of this month but my car failed its mot the other day and dont know what to do now! I dont have the money to get it fixed before the end of the month, is the only thing I can do is declare sorn? I keep my car in a car park so with sorn would I have to find a garage/driveway to store it? I want to sell the car so paying out the 600 repairs that kwikfit quoted is a lot of money for a P reg ford ka! x

kwikfit are notorious for failing cars on mots for the slightest things and their repair bills are usually high, take it to a local garage and get a quote for the work,i bet it does not come to more then 250.
I would not go to Kwik Fit they are all about hitting targets. They fleeced me a few years ago for with a 400 bill.

I would go to a local small garage that's your best bet, they are usually cheaper and aren't about hitting targets
