Just made myself a pot of tea in my lovely tea pot. I think it always tastes better in a proper pot and a proper mug.

A mug. A MUG! Isn't one supposed to use a bone-china cup and saucer when one makes tea in a pot and crook one's little-finger when drinking it?

No chores to do this evening as son is doing all my outside work -heaven - sitting by the open fire with some Bailey's cuddling my new puppy.

Well this afternoon a mixed bag because with it being expected to be a five day Christmas not just on the day, Bro and Sil (My Bubble) were well prepared and stocked up... needless to say far too much food, they've very kindly give me loads of it as "it all won't get eaten" (my first mince pie of 2021 and over Christmas)

bhg - I prefer one of my proper mugs either one made by me or in this case by a friend. Keeps the tea lovely and hot. Have got a couple of porcelain mugs but this particular one is stonewear.

I'm getting used to lazing about and I've got tomorrow off work as well. Back to 7.30 start on Tuesday though.

Just taken all the secs down and cleaned, then made lots of seedling pots out of the inside of toilet rolls that I have been saving, now waiting for the delivery of my new tv.

I'm showing off now - we have some bone-china mugs that an aunty painted for me about 50 years ago. The trouble is they're so precious (sentimentality-wise) that we daren't use them, so use our pot ones instead.
