You could also say it about all-included holidays to say Cuba. Where you stay in the hotel complex to drink yourself stupid & gorge yourself to death without seeing anything of the country!!

I don't know how much or where...I just heard someone talking about it and it got me wondering how many people have been put off Cruising Holidays in the light of the Con Cordia incident recently.

I spent 3 day a cruise ship, never again! The entertainment was not to my liking I was bored stiff and felt like I was in a floating prison. Give me the money!

i think most people either like cruises (or the idea of) or not. the concordia thing is largely recognised as an extremely rare event even by non-cruisers (so to speak).

I must admit I have been turned right off the idea of a Cruise Holiday...I was seriously thinking about it at one time...not now..I don't think I would relax for one minute on a boat now. (not even a ferry)

I would consider a river cruise where you stop regularly at points of interest but the thought of a sea cruise fills me with horror. So, on balance it would be the dosh for me.
