Who remembers a programme on tv in 90s and it was about a family of pirates and they were really dirty- the old granny had bottles in her hair and stuff??? think there was a human in a parrots cage hanging from the living room ceiling!!??

Was it called Pirates? Liz Smith (Nana Royle) was the granny and Paul Bown (who played Malcolm in the ITV series "Watching") was the father of the Pirates

judge im so glad u answered ive been trying to think what it was called for ages and i just couldnt rmember, who would have thought it was such a simple name.
