go out drinking?

I appear to be one of the few ABers that likes to go out and have a good session.

Will I grow out of it?

I love pubs - always have. Sitting at home drinking is not the same.

hmmmm....probably not Talbot..cheers ! lol
Some of us cannot stand the hangovers any more.
Or risk the possibility of stumbling.
Or have lost our heads for alcohol.

I expect it will come to you too eventually.
Sorry, forgot to say:
or are taking medication that does not mix with alcohol.....
I used to, usually one of the days over the weekend, I just can't be bothered now. The kids are out most weekend now so staying in is the new novelty.
There was a time I could drink a lot of folk under the table, but those days are long gone. Just seem to have lost the taste for alcohol.
Combination of factors for me, we were always pub goers.

First the Landlady and dearest friend of out local retired, then the smoking ban, followed by my Husbands ill health and when he died there seemed no reason for me to search out a new watering hole.
Forgot to add the huge difference in cost from drinking at home to going out.

Used to love a good session.
Now Type 2 Diabetic so have to be a little more careful.
Have had 3 decent red wines tonight, now on 2nd large G & T.
Will drink if we eat out as long as we have a Taxi booked.
Hopefully not. And hopefully I won't either. Keep rockin'
We used to enjoy going out Saturday and Sunday evenings. Since the drink/drive and then the no smoking came into force we gradually got fed up of walking to the local or paying for taxis, plus I hated standing outside with a cigarette. Now I've stopped smoking that doesn't matter but Mrask has to take his medication which means he cannot drink much so we don't bother. If we go for a pub meal to our local we'll have one or two then. We never drink at home.
" since the drink/drive"... and then smoking?!
They've all got married.
Mastercraft...it used to be acceptable to drink and drive.
Drink/drive was banned 40 + years earlier.
It might have been but it wasn't enforced. I lived in a pub...used to see it day in day out. (I'm 41)

Now't to be sorry about, mastercraft...this is the home of nonsense and banter.

When you think about it, AB is like an on-line pub. Full of characters, some just watching, some lairy, some talking drivel...some ***!
And some steaming....
