Does anybody know if there is to be a further series of 'Wild at Heart' this winter?

ITV have confirmed that there will not be a full eighth series, but the show is to be resurrected for either two 1 hour long episodes or one 2 hour long episode around Christmas and New Year of this year as an 8th mini-series

I think it is going to be a 'one off' for Christmas. Don't think there will be any more after that which is a shame but then there is a limit to storylines they can use.
