onion gravy is a must with sausage and mash!............
...hate gravy. Better with Baked beans.
Onion gravy or baked beans, a delightful meal :))
Oh yes and a bit of liver as well. yum.
if they are homemade sausages, a home made onion gravy

if crap ones, beans, and preferably homemade too...
Onion gravy with a splash of Lea and Perrins... mmmmmmmm.......
You're all making me hungry now...
There can be no gravy without Worcestershire sauce, and I always fold a dollop of Philadelphia into the mash and serve with garlic peas.

However, if you have left-over mash and want to fry it up maybe making it into a form of bubble 'n' squeak, then it has to be baked beans.
I like it with no gravy but with pink mash (lots of tomato sauce).
Trying to find good sausages these days isnt so easy, we have just found some locally, sold as "old English sausages" a firmer and tastier sausage, really nice!!
everything's better with onion gravy
Tomato ketchup is the work of the devil.
Sausage and mash must have onion gravy and those nice tobacco onions on top... all nice and crunchy! Yum!
There you are, you see, and I am trying to diet. What's the use I say? Now I am just longing for some sausage and mash, with onion gravy of course. Toad in the hole is nice too.
Onion gravy, yes.
Also, I would mix up some Dijon mustard in that mash. Delish! :-)
You are making me feel bilious with your concoctions.
what's a tobacco onion?
Don't know - what IS a tobacco onion, never heard of it.
How much Dijon mustard would you mix in flip? Sounds good, might try that for a change.
