Emmerdale Tune

What on earth have they done to the signature tune? It sounds as if it's been turned back to front. Horrible. Why can't they leave things like this alone??

I know ! I dont much like the 'Emmerdale' in white capital letters on a black background - too severe - but I guess it is supposed to be 'modern' ?

I agree Chrissa it's awful! I didn't like it when they changed the original one from Emmerdale Farm either! perhaps I just don't like change full stop. How are you? I haven't been on AB for a while and hope you have been OK x

Not keen on it at all, I much prefer the other tune and the new logo looks cheap...

Oh thanks for asking jubie. I'm not doing too bad although a bit lonely, as my daughter is working away for the summer. Got my dogs though.

Yes the Dr Who theme is another one that gets progressively worse.
The title is as bad, it looks like one of thoise DIY labels you can make, awful!

Its grim and nothing like the Tony Hatchard original.....and the film footage is very mediocre........last thing is few Yorkshire villages are situated up the hillside, they tend to be in the valleys, didnt know Emmerdale was half way up Ingleton or Whernside..

I agree but Why do they do it? I sit listening to it with my eyes screwed up at the odd harmonies and chords.
