I recorded last night's The Bill,butthe recording cut of just towards the end as Sgt June Ackland had her farewell party. I saw Jim Carver looking through the window of a door...and that was it. Did June stay with Rob,or did she go back to Jim.

She stayed with Rob

She told Jim she still loved him, but not in that way and that she wanted to marry Rod and spend the rest of her life with him. She went back into the party, told Rod she wanted to go and they slipped away without a fuss. Oh, and Jim left a cheque for her in an envelope to repay the money he stole & gambled away. Good decision June.

I am pleased she stayed withRob. I believe she is the longest serving police officer in British (or maybe the world) television.
