I have got one handbag that doesn't go on my shoulder, its a posh Radley one...lots of my shoulder bags have got handbag handles as well which are handy for just grabbing them up eg car to house/house to car etcet.

Up until last year I had about 40 handbags piled up in the cupboard when it dawned on me I only actually use about 3 of them so I palmed the rest of to my niece, much to her mothers dismay. ha!

It would be easier not to have one though. My current one is so big I can never find anything in it.

Shoulder bags only for me. I hate having to carry anything in my hands-I just would feel silly with one. Besides-I like to swing my arms as I walk.

Some handbags are lovely but they are impractical. I like a shoulder bag or cross body bag to have my hands free. My latest is a Fossil leather satchel type bag. I`ve got several bags but tend to just use the same one most of the time.

Handbags no. Shoulder bags definitely yes.

I would feel totally daft walking about with a 'handbag' (Like Mrs Thatcher)

shoulder bags for day to day yes, but if you go out in the evening you need a handbag, it looks way better than something hanging off your shoulder.

I have loads too. Shoulder bags and handbags. Bout time I got rid of the 'handbags' I never use them.

I also have those silly little evening clutch bags. It's a very long time that I went to an occasion that warranted one of those. Clear out it will be!!!

Oh, whoops! Completely missed the point of your post.

Shoulder bags always over handbags. Unless I'm being treated for the night and then I'll have a nice little clutch to match the LBD.

out in the evening, I do my best to take no bag at all....both of my evening bags are teeny shoulder bags. My bust is too big for cross body.

Same as you Woofy. Mr LL gets a comb put in his pockets and some tissues. I don't reapply makeup once it's on!!
