Now it is not safe to walk some British streets, especially if one is elderly and happens to wear an ex-serviceman's blazer.
These two cowardly and knuckle-dragging scum, should be hunted down, and feel the whole weight of justice rained down upon them.

I don't know, all I do know it has been reported in today's Daily Express.
Why are you a little touchy about it being re-reported even if it was?
In my mind if it helps to re-awaken people's minds of this savage attack, and then perhaps in some-way helps to track down these two monsters, then all to the good.

And the sad fact is that some young offenders are already beyond saving and will immediately re-offend when released!
How you can not have respect for those who have fought to protect the streets that these thugs now prey on? They do not have the same morals or outlook on life as most of us, (not that I would sympathy and suggest that they are forced in to this behaviour by circumstance.)
Bring back to National service, show them what it is to be a man, to have respect for others and to look after yourself!!

Having checked the files, you are nearly right but I was not telling a story, I was asking a question on a news report of the day, and it wasn't on the 11th Dec but on the 13th.
For some reason the Daily Express has chosen to re-report this news incident, so perhaps you should take it up with them?
Having re-read the original Daily Mail report it said it was a RAF uniform tunic he was wearing, the Daily Express in their report said it was a Blazer with a RAF badge on it.
The ex-serviceman was attacked on November 1 but for some reason the police only released the information on the 11th Dec. Now the Express are re-reporting the crime on Dec 28th, what is going off?
I am well aware that it is rather a sensitive issue, seeing that it involves two young Asian or Mixed raced thugs attacking an old and defenceless ex-serviceman, but why all the delays?

Technically, this isn't AOG's fault. The Daily Mail also re-reported the story a couple if days Ago, and many of the people responding asked the same question - "why has this story be reprinted".
It wasn't a follow-up...it was reported almost as if it were a new story.
Therefore, all our responses to the original posting still stand. There's nothing new to say.
