I agree with knowabit and Tizzi24. Russell just isn't Kev. Loved his Robin Hood - american accent and all! The new one looks very gloomy and everyone seems to be dirty. Kevin always looked very clean and well groomed. Bryan Adams music did help a lot as well.

the best films of Robin Hood will always be the Errol Flynn or Richard Todd versions.

Best one I saw was the spoof "The Zany Adventures of Robin Hood" absolutely brilliant.

Saw it last night. Entertaining and well made, but lacked that "something special". Didn't think I'd wasted my money, though.
