who is your favourite peripheral Simpsons character? I'm torn between Chief Wiggum and Comic Book Guy.

It's got to be Mr Burns or Moe for me. The great thing about the Simpsons is that the peripheral characters are so good. Hardly any of them are duds.

Chief Wiggum is my favourite, so many fabulous throw away lines. This is my favourite "ok folks, show's over, nothing to see here, show's o........oh my god a horrible plane crash, come everybody getta load of this flaming wreckage, come on, don't be shy crowd around crowd around"  or "This is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort, heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless.

Hats off to P Junk 7.  Great question, i am going for Wiggum his shape suits the voice, and so many memorable lines, have to sgree with kags all gret moments, like the bit when he is chasing Marge and the other woman and he says he is directly under the earths sunnnn,........nnnnnnow....

I can't believe nobody mentioned Groundskeeper Willie, maybe the Aberdeen Strangler. His quote "No not my retirement grease" is the best. CM Burns is also a favorite. All the Springfield mebers of the Republican party are great. You have them all Burns, Krusty...
