The sky mag landed on the mat a couple of days ago but I'll be damned if I can remember what the Christmas movie is. Might be transformers.

It is the latest Indiana Jones film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I thought this had only just come out on DVD

You can have Sky, you can have Virgin TV, you can have the biggest bestest plasma tv in the world - but it's all the same rubbish you watch!!
I'm saving some of the latest DVDs for the evening. Christmas hasn't been Christmas since Morecombe and Wise died.

Sad sad sad. Is Christmas really about "whats on the box"? I will have a wonderful Christmas without switching the TV on.

What you have to remember is that Christmas viewing figures are good no matter what pap they broadcast, so they will save their best output for other times in the year, so they can maximise advertising revenues.

Never really understood why TV has 'seasons' like crops - after all, I watch all year round, I don;t think "Wow, it's summer, I must check the new schedules ..." - people either watch or they don't, even allowing for warmer brighter nights when people go out more - technology means trhat everyone records what they want to watch in their own time.
