I'm sure I read somewhere that Yahoo was shouted in a film, think it was Star Wars or something, anyone know if this is correct?

Maybe it was, but then it's the sort of word you would shout when say swinging on a rope or jumping off a cliff. Are you asking because of Yahoo on the internet? - The word existed way before then.
