Hi Penlid, I know you tried to hide the names in the question but perhaps I could make a suggestion? If you (or anyone else of course) have other questions like this just put the name of the programme / film and the word SPOILER as the question, nothing else. Then "answer" your own question with the question you wanted to ask. Hope that makes sense : - )

To answer your question I always assumed it was nothing to do with the actors being sacked & simply a part of the story. It cartainly added a very interesting and somewhat unexpected dimension to Michael's character (highlight if you want to see who dunnit)

They were both "done" for driving under the influence, though it is strenously denied that this was a factor.

I didn't know this about Ana Lucia - but the actress was done for drink driving stateside earlier this year, so I did expect it at some point. I think the other one was the same - I read it on the Imdb website newspage
