i know theres been a q about this before, but did anyone watch last night's episode?
i can heartily recommend it to everyone. the woman who had been in prison - wow i could NOT muster up any sympathy for her

I watched it first time round. It’s an excellent programme, totally unbiased. I would fully recommend it .
Yes, I’ve been watching it and find it unmissable. It’s made me really think about the whole ‘Troubles’ thing, which I’ve not really done before.
I agree about her, Bednobs, she really hasn’t moved on at all and was responsible for so much heartache when she was younger.
And then there was the single mum who was a Goldfinch, and the affect her job had on her daughter, I couldn’t begin to imagine growing up under those circumstances.
The sickening footage of those soldiers being dragged out of their vehicle, beaten and murdered really upset me.

i was probably old enough for m e to have seen that in the news at the time, but young enough for it not to touch me, therefore i had no recollection of the incident and was astonished at the outcome.
I was also astonished that they were there in the first place!

plus that woman, who even now couldnt drive down that road or say the words comfortably i could deffo muster up sympathy for her
