morning, Monday and the start of the working week for some. I hope that you are all as well as can be and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

I have a food delivery at 8am then a phone call to the GP for my ultrasound results, after that no plans.

the forecast for the capital is a lowly 15c, quite cool, with light rain, which its doing at the moment.

After a rather enjoyable ;-/ few hours cutting and stacking firewood I'm going relax for the rest of the day.

RH, food shop is a 1 hour slot, 8-9 but they aren't too bad on delivery, only a couple of times have i had to phone to ask where its got to.
last time it was late, they gave me a 5 pound voucher as an apology.

i pay a yearly subscription to sainsburys so i get an anytime food slot, if that makes sense. I book well in advance and generally get the early slots, as it makes life more simple, leaves me free to do other things.

I've woken up with swollen glands so I'll be trotting downstairs in a bit to make a honey and lemon. I hope this is gone by the weekend as my mother is coming to visit.

OH has a sore throat too so we're just hoping the little doesn't get it.

quite often they turn up around 8 which is good.
