Anyone Still Doing Wordle?

I do two, the original one and the New York Times one both just after midnight when I get a new set of blank squares. My only quibble is when there are about seven alternative letters to complete the word such as one ending in OUND. It then is down to a lucky guess.

it is indeed. If you've got enough attempts left, try a word like BRIEF, which contains three possible first letters If one of them is accepted, that's your answer.

If you have more than one guess left use one to eliminate as many letters as you can.
eg pound, wound, mound, found . try FRUMP
if f, m r or p is there great, If not the answer is Wound

I did until I realised it was giving the US spelling of words i.e. color etc. Nothing wrong with that of course as it's by the NYT, but, it just doesn't work for me so I stopped doing it.

tigger, there was US spellings before the creator sold it to NYT.
You can play again now Gettingonabit has provided a link to a Wordle that uses UK spellings. :)
