Seems now it's compulsory for ads to be all black or mixed. Far too much as the black population is only 2% in the UK.call me white and privaldge I don't care

Yeah, they won the "must see moment" award. Not my choice, but the people spoke lol
Plenty of acting going on round here these days...of the ham-fisted variety, with plenty of extras on set...
Lol the people's vote with a little help from the BBC no doubt ! I remember the older Banjo bloke saying how the dance divided his family at the time. Far too many complaints for it to possibly win legitimately as far as I'm concerned.
where is the 2% figure from?...Hmmm
Oh well, no need to let the facts stand in the way of a good knocking the BBC session I guess Shirls.
Still unsure why the BBC is getting flak, this was the short list of Must-See-Moments and how to vote.

If people are cross simply because the BBC screen the awards then by all means lobby them with your views.
It's threads like this that make me very sad...and angry.
I'd like to think that my generation...in the States at least...paved the way for learning to accept many varied viewpoints and lifestyles. But now I am frequently shocked by the level of prejudice and bigotry sometimes displayed...not just by those in my age group, but also many who are younger. And it's not confined to race obviously...its near about everything.
I try to imagine what it's like to feel so much anger.
I'm not at all angry, just giving a P.O.V that's all
Pasta, I’m surprised by how many people apparently lack the wit to use their remote controls. Would save an awful lot of people from having a fit of the vapours at something they find so offensive.
Yes Pasta I agree. Sometimes reading some posts on AB is like reading the Minutes of Britain First. I don't agree its not an age thing though. Like I said ,I don't know anyone under the age of 40 who even thinks about 'colour'. What the hell does it matter to anyone if a Black group win an award - or a black women adveretises life insurance on the TV ?
Some people either have nothing else to do in thier lives or a seriously prejudice.
I recorded it, hoping it would be good - ha! big mistake. I fast forwarded the vast majority of it !
and I switched it off!
But some people are angry Bobbi...
True sherrardk.
and I never turned it on in the first place as knew it would be a load of sycophantic toss lol!
Neither did I as it's not my thing.
There are lots of things I don't watch or turn off or change channel.

I'd have RSI if I posted about all of them.

I certainly don't sit with a clicker noting how many of each colour are in the adverts - that's loo time or brew time.
I watched the Baftas, it was a watered down affair, a very sparse audience and Richard wasn't the best choice of host.
"Lol the people's vote with a little help from the BBC no doubt"

Serious question - how could the BBC influence the public vote. Are they voted for live on the night?
Mamya @ 17:04 - that's the most accurate thing posted about the BAFTAs.

sp - nice to see you :-)
Sp, I posted a link above to the voting.

//How can I vote?
