I know I’ve asked before, before anyone says so lol, but I can’t find the answer/question. A certain fox has taken a shine to my garden. Digs a massive hole in same spot every night and does it’s business. So I did what MIL said and diluted some bleach and carefully put it on the soil, without touching the plants, and that worked! Till yesterday - it’s now decided it likes the big flower pots in my front garden! Has messed in them and flung all the soil out. And I can’t really put bleach in them as too close to the shrubs - any other ideas??

Get hubby to pee round the boundary.

Might look a tad awkward in the front garden!! LOL
I had this problem so used some sticks and old plastic spikes from old solar lights, put them around the plant in pots this works
Question Author
So the sticks just stop them digging? X
Ah, yes that could be tricky.

You can buy stuff such as Scoot which is strong smelling but harmless to plants. But there is home stuff you can try such as boiling up garlic and chilli.
Could you not get him to pee in a bottle then sprinkle it around?
Mr M pees in a jar so I can add it to the compost
Question Author
That actually works??
Yup
Question Author
Hmm I must try and delicately ask him when he gets home lol!!
Is it male pee only that works mm?
I have some electronic sensors that emit a sound (humans can barely hear it). Solved the problem for me - keeps the cats off too.

Electronic sensors?
Are you it's not a cat ?

The ‘doings’ look far too big for a cat
Only male pee something to do with there being too many hormones in female pee
Thanks mm, interesting.
The reason I asked "Are You Sure It's not a cat" is because, I've never known foxes to bury their poop.
^ Correct. Foxes don't do this. They mainly leave dropping to mark their territory. Bet it's a big dog.
>>> The ‘doings’ look far too big for a cat

I spent months cursing whichever dog-walker it was who was allowing their pooch to poo in my front garden every day. I was sure that it had to be dog poo, as there appeared to be far too much for a cat to ever produce.

That was until the day when I happened to look out of my window and see the culprit. It turned out that it had been one of my own cats all along!
Try a few moth balls around the area, that may put off whatever it is.
