I have seen the first 2 episodes and gave this Sunday's a try, but now I find it too slapstick and unfunny. It's a shame because it could have been a great ( no pun intended) series. What does anyone else think ?

I'm loving it. The trailers before it started were fair warning that it was not going to be a heavy historical drama. I consider it light relief. Time will tell if I last the full series.

I am watching, wouldn't say I love it but some bits hold my attention, it is rather slapstick, very bawdy and some scenes have even made me cringe. I have wondered what the Russians would think of it :-)
