I have a great deal of time and admiration for her.

Me too Baldric, she's a worker
The wonderful Princess Anne is, in the nicest possible way, the only "bloke" amongst our Queen's children. Respect.
I'm watching this and she seems very grounded.
Question Author
She really does Sharon , I agree
I remember her second husband from my days at Durham University. He always seemed a bit wet to me.
Question Author
He looks quite manly here JD haha , I thought her first one had a 'pointy head' :0/
I respect her a lot. Royal duties carried out with grace, throws herself wholeheartedly into her passions (and why not?!)
I don't remember her insulting anyone under her breath (Charles did)
although she's not a fan of the press, and who would be?
She's a fine human being.
Question Author
She certainly doesn't suffer fools Alba, very like her father
She's a blooming hard worker and always prefers speaking to the workers than the managers when she does visits. Not sure the traffic police would agree she has 'never put a foot wrong', don't think the Queen has ever been done for speeding!
I think, she should Naff Off.
Just watched the programme, she came over as a very pleasant and well grounded lady.
Yep she's OK is Ann. Hardworking, modest, can't think of anything bad to say about her.
Probably the most admirable member of the Royal Family after her mum. Impressive that she refused titles for her children so they could enjoy more normal lives. Slightly disjointed ending to this docu. I suspect she had editorial control, which is why everyone was impressed, but she deserves all the credit she gets... and more
She doesn't deserve the 'doesn't suffer fools' stuff.

That's reserved for old obituaries and bumptious curmudgeons.
The royals live in a surreal world. No one (outside of the privacy of family) disagrees with them. Ann spoke about her headmistress with whom she got along very well, and thought it curious that everyone else was wary of her. Not difficult to see why. The headmistress dare not be anything but acquiescent to Ann. That said, I like her, she's loyal, patriotic, and a hard worker who does her very best, and I congratulate her on raising two very grounded children.
// I remember her second husband from my days at Durham University. He always seemed a bit wet to me.//

she goes for wets
numba 1 was known as "foggy" - - dense and wet
so pas de pointy head - je crains

nice to see a royal getting on with it
I have always liked Anne, seems level headed and direct.
When I was Regimental Photographer during the last 12 months of my army service, my room in Hohne, West Germany, overlooked the Garrison stables and the adjoining practice arena. One afternoon I saw a rider putting a horse through it's paces so I grabbed my Pentax, went outside and began taking photographs. Only for a Regimental Policeman to tell me I couldn't do so. Then this rather plummy voice piped up, "It's okay, let him continue." The plummy voice belonged to Princess Anne. The rider was Capt Mark Phillips. Don't know if he was attached to either of the other 2 British Regiments on the Garrison or whether he was simply using the facilities. Never got to speak to the Princess but was very grateful for her intervention and I got some decent shots for the Regimental monthly magazine.
She should have been our next Queen. No Question.
