Hi retro - your link gives several different other links - I have gone on the one which appears to divide the show into three sections, but the music overlaid is so loud the dialogue is almost drowned out, and there is no chance of hearing any coughing.

Do you have a link to what you watched please?
I am afraid I went back to youtube and the 50minute clip I had watched about an hour and half earlier mysteriously could not be opened. My wife, who originally, discovered it on her Ipad, tried going back and it had been shut down. Several other shorter versions on youtube were also shown as 'unavailable' ?

Somebody posted it on the other thread (The Cheating Major);-), retro.
It cut off at the £4,000 mark. There must be some block on showing it.
(maybe on account of this (upcoming) trial.
Does it show him being bullied?
Morning, Raki

According to the drama, the cougher didn't know the googol answer and asked the bloke sat next to him.
Wonder if that's true. And if it is, they took a massive chance on a random stranger.
Don't know about the cheating Major but the last episode tonight appeared to show a cheating ITV executive. Paul Smith who asserts the show is his receives a court summons to attend Southwark Crown Court mid court proceedings. He rocks up at court and appears to sit in the upstairs public gallery with the rest of the ITV production crew whilst evidence is heard in the court below. A little later he appears in the witness box giving his evidence under examination by Defence Counsel. If this happened in the real trial his evidence would be disallowed surely.
I thought we should of heard at least part of the Prosecution Counsel's final address to the court. Seems like they tried to squeeze as much as they could in the drama with time running out.

Surprising they were found guilty. Their barrister made some excellent points (in the drama)
Bet they win their appeal.
Apparently, the reason they've waited for so long to appeal is due to recent innovations in technology. I can only imagine that, somehow, they've been able to pinpoint the coughing from the other potential contestants in the fastest finger first seats which now shows that some of the coughs considered to be pivotal to the case didn't actually come from Tecwen Whittock...
To be totally honest, had I been on the jury, the moment I heard Chris Tarrant say he hadn't heard (or seen) anything untoward, I would have had a Not Guilty verdict wedged firmly in my mind. I am assuming, of course, that particular scene was not fictional.
One thing I did notice in the drama, though, was that while in court, old Tecwen hardly coughed (if indeed he coughed at all) ;-)

Once the police didn't seize that tape, the case should have been chucked out, imo.
The jury were listening to doctored evidence.
Yes Ken. I also noticed that. Mrs Ingram had a couple of coughs though. :-)
Deffo Spicey. As Defence Councel stated. Tape G was edited by you (Smith) so the jury could hear what YOU wanted them to hear.Where were tapes A-F for the court to hear with the other 192 coughs from all and sundry in the studio at the time.?
On what was shown tonight,no way were they guilty. imo.

I just clicked on this to see what you said, Denton. And the BA caught my eye. I thought 'who the hell gave that the BA'. I was quite annoyed for a second or two. Lol, time for bed I think.
Is that the same Paddy Spooner, roy? Is that why you posted it?
