I currently pay £8.99 the selection is fairly good. You need a pretty connection if you good plan to run it through your TV.

Hi is that a month ?
Yes, it's a month but 5 people can use it.

I live alone ummm
I think only 3 at a time though. I've had to phone my kids to tell them to log out.
They can use it on other devices.

Oh right
Actually not sure about a freeview TV.

Sorry...I should still be in bed.
You will need a good internet speed. If you've got that buy a £30 Chromecast and connect it to your tv by the HDMi port.
Then you can sign up for Netflix - you normally get offered a free trial.

Thinking about it, if you are already an Amazon Prime subscriber go for the Fire tv and you can get Amazon Prime Video as well as Netflix

I have an Amazon fire tablet

Not the same thing. Get a fire stick. It's brilliant.
You can watch Netflix on your Fire tablet, if you enjoy watching movies on the small screen.
It might be worth your while signing up for Netflix on the tablet if they offer you a free trial, then you can see if it's worth investing in a Fire tv or other gadget to make your tv 'smart'.
My Netflix is 599 a month
Netflix has different plans - the cheapest is £5.99 a month and is standard definition for watching on one device only, probably perfect for tamaris
hc. I have Netflix, what would be the advantages of getting Amazon fire tv as well & is it available outside of the UK, but in the EU?
I don't know what the advantages would be to you, Khandro, as I don't know your set up nor what you want.
I like Amazon Prime Video - they have some great series and I very much like the Xray feature especially when I'm trying to identify an actor or piece of music

If your tv is 'smart' you can probably get Prime Video without buying a gadget.
I have no idea if the content is available anywhere outside the UK, I haven't tried to access it when I've been abroad.

I don't have Fire TV, I access Prime Video through the app on my tv or through my Virgin V6 box

This link gives you all the information about Fire TV

hc thanks, I have found this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201624360
Which would seem to appear that with it I could get BBC television iPlayer which isn't possible normally outside of the UK
I can't see anywhere that specifically states you will be able to access BBC iPlayer abroad. I did see this:

Some apps and games may not work in your new country.
