Friday. Not raining, bur it's still wet outside.

I was on my way to the hospice yesterday, I got to the top of Frocester Hill and the engine light came on. Oops I thought, get to trundlebuggy hospital. so took it easy getting there, my mate, who owns the place, Had a quick look, told me to take it home and come back down in the morning i.e. today and he'll sort it out. he will drive me back home. He obviously knows what it is. so that's today taken care of. So I'll write a load of christmas cards today. So the hospice will have to wait until Monday. Always at the most inconvenient time in't it!

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning Boaty sorry your car is not well
But hopefully you'll get it sorted with help from your friend.

Morning tony. Thank you mate. Most annoying. That's the whole day lost.

How are you this morning?
Question Author
He'll sort it out. I think he knows what the problem is. He's been a friend since he set up on his own when he left the RAF, His mum went to school with my Vera, she told us about him, so wen went to see him and became instant friends.
Good thanks Jen may get discharged today depends on consultant and blood test results
Question Author
That's good. I hope she does, you can enjoy spoiling her. Quite right too. ;o}
Boaty no spoiling unfortunately need to get her fit and exercising.
And making sure I get proper Care plan put in place.
Question Author
That's all part of it my friend. It's called tough love. Get her fit and healthy with the odd treat, a nice meal, a cup of tea. etc.
Question Author
Yes indeed. Most important, it's difficult on your own.
Morning.

Hope all goes well with Jen, Tony, a bit of tough love required?

Best wishes for Trundlebuggy Boaty, nothing requiring surgery I hope.

You may like to move this thread into Chatterbank Boaty, if you have the power
I'm afraid I was guilty of giving to much care from last time she was in hospital, so I'll have to be a bit tougher this time round. It's far cheaper for me to get bus to hospital than paying car parking fees + I get to have meal on way home. Chicken and chips yesterday mmm
Thanks Ozzy

Good thinking tony.

G'day mate. Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't notice that!

I can't move it so we'll have to soldier on.

How's things down there today?
Not that it matters but get a weekly go anywhere bus pass for £22. Jen gets free bus pass from our local council.
Hot, dry and dusty.
Went to the big smoke, very busy with lot's of Christmas shoppers.

Darn people every where clogging up the shops and parking spaces.

It's good to be back in the middle of nowhere.
Hi all I am up with a fractious 9 week old who had her first jabs today. Well yesterday I suppose. My husband had a car crash yesterday and is in some significant pain so I guess I'll have 3 of them to look after today.
You need to wear one of her frocks and use the free pass Tony ;-)
Question Author
That helps tony.

oz that's my take on citys too
1ozzy don't you just sometimes wish you could death ray whole swathes of people out of your way? I'm doing it all online this year
