Someone I know went on their honeymoon with their new in-laws on a narrow boat with just a curtain separating them for sleeping in one large berth!?! NOTHING would possess me to do that lol.

A family event with us once,my Dad and BiL got stuck in a corner together, my Dad did not like my BiL in no uncertain terms and this time stuck with my sister's hubby gave him the chance to tell him, I don't like you (for no reason only,he didn't like him), my BiL, a successful business man, turned to him and said, don't worry, I can't stand you, you will always be my wife's dad but I am her hubby, move on, keep smiling and know you're daughter is happy, I give her all she wants, she works and earns all she wants - nicely told my dad to eff off - they shared a mutual respect after that, no one lost sleep and sadly, both are passed away but in final years - life was bearable for all the family - great for the grandkids too
