I love the end of An Officer and a Gentleman, when Richard Gere goes into the factory where Debra Winger works and carries her away. Gets me blubbing every time.

1) the Railway Children when the smoke clears on the platform and Roberta cries "my Daddy, oh my daddy".

For those who weren't there this is the scene that cracked Dave up and led to the coffee tin prank
