I was surprised that the BBC included the clip from Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere series killed a cow and in exchange for the damage done to their van, the farmer gave them a pig which they took from place to place in an attempt to sell the animal for slaughter. They finally took it to a Muslim butchers, but where chased down the road by a mob of very angry Muslims.

You must be judging by his record breaking tour. No comic has ever achieved as much.

I often troll through youtube selections of his shows, phoenix nights were brilliant.

I adore Peter Kay. I think he is the funniest man on the planet.I especially enjoyed his Car Share series. It was a hoot!! I wish he would make some more of those.

I love his observational style and I have no doubt my views are steeped in a certain Northern nostalgia.

Sometimes I could be back sat with my parents and grandparents with some of the comments.
