Pardon?
TTT beleive it or not, people can't "just get jobs" sometimes. Or do you think they're offered out like hotcakes?

spathy: "Misery??? She's on the apprentice! she's done well, looks happy to me" - gawd you are digging yourself in here mate. The dealer is typically ok, it's the customers that have the misery, derr!
Well we're not talking about drug users, TTT. We're taking about dealing. Misery life? yeah right, say that to the smell of burnt rubber as they skid off in their brand new BMWs
//TTT beleive it or not, people can't "just get jobs" sometimes.//

So they become drug dealers. Right ....
Maybe you should read page one, Naomi. I've described the kind of situation that leads people to this position.
Drug dealing is a job not a legal one by any means but it's a job.. All you have to do to make it legal is change the drug, and get a chemist degree and boom. It's a part of a bigger world. I'm not for it at all but you can't deny they have serious business skills.
oh so you have one?
returning to the thread
//Drug dealers have some brilliant business skills, time management, supply and demand, import export..//
I think that has to be "Some drug dealers...."
average dealing life up t north is 18 months
Mr Nice Guy was an exception but even he started by getting all his posh oxford frenz hooked ....

Freakonomics ( a book which is worth a skim) has a final chapter on Why do drug dealers live with their mothers
because they dont make much money is the short answer....

very flat mgt structure like the pediment of a temple
whereas the police fr/instance have a very pillar like ( obelisky ) mgt str - lots of officers in offices pushing paper and not many on the beat.

so a lot of the mules live with their mums because they arent making much moolah - or the moolah they make goes up their noses.

the author reported there was one dealer who wanted to give up his life of crime and plagued him for a job
a proper job .... like a janitor at a university ....
For whatever business it is of yours Sparkly (and the implication is noted), when my father left prison with various addiction issues (drugs and alcohol) he didn't go back to Belfast where he is from because he didn't want his children ending up the same way he had. He came to London to my mother (they were not then a item). She took him and his children in, got him off drink and drugs, he set himself up first as a window cleaner and car valeter, then a car trader and finally as a property trader and landlord, as well as running a security firm and other businesses. We were all home educated and when we were 10 were given £1k to set up a business as part of our business studies. I did that. I still have that little business, three others which are solely mine and I am a partner in two of my brother's businesses. My mother's father died about ten years ago and left each of the grandchildren with enough to buy a property with. Some of us bought singly and some of us got together with others and bought, some live in their houses, some trade them and some rent them out. None of us are drug dealers. It's not hard actually, you just have to work.

spath: "Well we're not talking about drug users, TTT. We're taking about dealing. Misery life? yeah right, say that to the smell of burnt rubber as they skid off in their brand new BMWs " - indeed we are and that is why they are scum, sucking on a stream of misery to every step in the supply chain. From whatever hell hole the drugs are produced in to the brutalsation of those in between, the mules forced to carry gawd knows what in their bodies for fear of their family being murdered. I had no idea you were such a fan of this evil world. You live and learn.
Spath, I read it and it's bunkum. Just as well the majority of people in that position don't decide to go into the same business.
Bunkum? Rightio Oh! Well please help explain to people why they may venture into the drug dealing life style?

Obviously because it's so exciting and easy!
"hell hole"

Personal experience is that?
you're talking like you know their positions, but you've admitted you don't at all.
"I had no idea you were such a fan of this evil world. You live and learn."

You obviously have selective hearing or reading because you pick up on what you want to pick up on and seem completely oblivious to anything else.

"I'm not for it at all but you can't deny they have serious business skills."
It's not hard actually, you just have to work.

Or given a thousand quid at ten years old, lol.
spath, //Well please help explain to people why they may venture into the drug dealing life style? //

Because they want big money and they don't care who gets hurt in the process. They're the scum of the earth.

have you seen any of those airport type shows spath? You know, terrified mum of 4 forced to swallow packets of drugs whilst their kids are threatened back home. Mules dying because their packets split and poisoned them? Do you ever watch documentaries on the drug production countries and the processes they go through? Or are they just made up? How do you think the drugs get here? before BMW man sells them? They're not all grown in your mates loft.
Naomi but apparently the money isn't great? Why would they live with their mums?

There are many dealers.. which is why it's known as a chain or a plug. A dealer will deal to multiple dealers, the 'top dawgs' there is a career path for dealers to make a lot of money, but it's a pyramid scheme. Facts.
