Iplayer 'recently Watched' Programmes

I seem to have built up a few 'recently watched' watched programmes that need viewing still. Some i definitely dont want to continue watching.
Is there a quick way to delete them?
At the moment i'm accessing the programme and then fast forwording to the end which takes time ans skill so it doesn't start at the beginning again.

I think you need to let programmes run right to the end when you watch them.

I don't know of any other way.
