He handled it quite well tho.
he should steer clear of questions that don't include wheels ...
Clarkson is becoming an embarrassment with his lack of knowledge on the show. I really don't understand why they included an option to ask him for an answer. I don't think he has been able to give a valid answer yet.
The programme is well past it's sell by date, as for clarkson, way way past his sell by date .
It's ended now. Thankfully it was only a 1 week special to mark the 20th anniversary of the original show.
I think he's been great, everyone makes mistakes, even tv presenters. I hope another series is made with him at the helm, if he's got the time that is.
I agree with ama.
I'd like to see another series, but it would be fun to see different hosts with each series.

I'd nominate people like Chris Evans, James Martin, David Walliams and many others.
I consider myself reasonably average on wildlife but I'd have picked deer too, it's not that epic a fail

I've seen a couple of these with him presenting. I think he does a good job. Asking him for an answer is no different to phoning a friend. Friends often get it wrong too. We can't all be brain of Britain!
"Clarkson is becoming an embarrassment with his lack of knowledge"

Shaky ground, right there.

I'd love to see Bradley presenting it.
I was quite pleased that I knew the correct answer :) OH said Deer too. I stuck with my answer while the Friend gave his. My jaw dropped when JC said Deer was correct. OH started to laugh at me for being so confident, and wrong. Then JC had to eat his words. Lovely!
That's it then, middle aged entertainer makes mistake, end of the world.
If Clarkson wasn't so up him self and full of his own importance he would have waited and looked at the screen for the correct answer not dived in cos he thought he knew the answer.
"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble when I'm perfect in every way!"

I wouldn't call it an 'epic' mistake, although I do feel sorry for the bloke who had one second of thinking he'd won £16,000.
