The current crop of stand up comedians don't ,make me laugh .

However Lee ,Mack's off the cuff responses in, Would I Lie To you are funny .
Whereas David Mitchell can only muster up the odd funny response .

Anyone agree with me ?

Lee Mack is genius at the ad libs...Mitchell is a more considered humourist..but together make this a very enjoyable programme.. Rob Bryden too...
David Mitchell's angry sarcasm works for me and Lee Mack's professional northerner goes well with the soft southerner.
I like them both on WILTY but Lee Mack is above most with the quick response.
Might have more appeal if I didn't think the whole show was scripted. Rather like Have I got News for You.
I think that the three of them Mitchell, Mack and Bryden are superb together and wouldn't want to see any changers there.

But some of the selection of panel members come in for some criticism.

My favourite panel members however are, Bob Mortimer, Jack Whitehall, Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan and Joe Wilkinson
Love all three....only TV programme that has me crying with laughter.
Am I alone in getting very tired with Rob Bryden?
I enjoy this programme but wish they would do new series as I have watched them all, Lee Mack is great and quick witted ,David Mitchell great as well their humour bounces of one another very enjoyable show.
It's much better with Rob than with Angus Deyton. Both WILTY and HIGNFY.

I like both David Mitchell and Lee Mack. Separately however, I'd rather watch something with DM in it than
LM. Not Going Out was dreadful, IMHO.
Don't think the HIGNFY is totally scripted, they clearly know what's coming and some parts are contrived but there's a lot of impromptu stuff, they bounce well off each other, we managed to get tickets for it a couple of years ago one of the better TV shows we've seen. On WILTY I think that Mack and Mitchell complement each other very well, a professional Northerner and a professional posh boy.
I prefer Greg Davies who has stood in for Lee Mack in older episodes.
I've given the show a fair bat, but don't like it simply because there's something about David Mitchell that irks me.
